The 2026 Nationals will also double as the official selection event for the Australian team heading to the 2026 Youth Sailing World Championships in Vilamoura, Portugal (11–19 December 2026). Youth Selection Criteria apply solely for the purpose of choosing the Youth Worlds representatives and do not affect the overall regatta, scoring, or eligibility to enter.
